Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Godhra has released advertisement number 01/SF/2026 for filling up 820 vacancies in its self-finance affiliated colleges. The recruitment covers posts of Principal, Assistant Professor, Librarian, Physical Training Instructor (P.T.I.) and Tutor across 27 college types including Arts, Commerce, Science, B.Ed, B.S.W, M.S.W, B.R.S, M.R.S, B.C.A, Law, B.B.A, PGDMLT, M.Sc, M.A, B.Sc Nursing, Physiotherapy, Diploma in Fire & Safety and Diploma in Health Sanitary Inspector colleges. Who Can Apply?
For Principal Posts
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from a recognised university
- Ph.D in the concerned subject
- Teaching/research experience at the college/university level (as per UGC norms)
For Assistant Professor Posts
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per UGC rules)
- Must have qualified NET / SLET / SET in the concerned subject
- Candidates with Ph.D as per UGC 2009 regulations are exempt from NET
For Librarian Posts
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science with at least 55% marks
- NET/SLET qualified or Ph.D as per UGC norms
For P.T.I. (Physical Training Instructor) Posts
- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with at least 55% marks
- NET in Physical Education or Ph.D
For Tutor Posts (Nursing / Physiotherapy)
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing for Nursing Tutor
- BPT / MPT for Physiotherapy Tutor
- Candidates must follow Indian Nursing Council / relevant council norms
Salary
- Salary will be paid as per UGC and Gujarat State Government norms for self-finance affiliated colleges
- Selected candidates will be offered the appointment letter by the management of the respective college
- Pay structure varies by post type and college

Selection Process
The selection will be done in the following stages:
- Online Application Screening: University verifies eligibility based on submitted documents and prepares a merit list
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview at the university or college venue. Candidates must bring the printed online application (Hard Copy) and original documents for verification
- Document Verification: Original certificates of all qualifications are verified at the time of interview
- Final Appointment: Based on merit, the university issues an offer letter for the chosen college, and the management of that college issues the formal appointment letter
Incomplete applications or applications with missing details will not be accepted.
