Samagra Shiksha, Gujarat State Project Office (Gujarat Council of School Education, Sector-19, Gandhinagar) has released Notice No. સમગ્ર શિક્ષા/મકમ/૨૦૨૬/૨૨૮૦૦ dated 20 May 2026 for filling up 25 different posts across State, District, Block (Taluka) and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) / Residential Boys Hostel levels. All posts are purely contractual for 11 months. Several posts are reserved for female candidates only (KGBV Wardens, Girls Education coordinators) and a few are only for male candidates (Boys Hostel Warden). Who Can Apply?

For State / District Coordinator posts (Officer In-charge, ADC):

• Graduation with 60% (First Class) and Postgraduation with 55% (Second Class)
• B.Ed degree is compulsory
• TET / TAT exam pass is mandatory (for teaching-related coordinator posts)
• 3 years of paid teaching experience after qualification

For State IED Coordinator (Post 1):

• Graduate (60%) + Postgraduate (60%) + B.Ed (Special Education) from RCI-approved institution
• RCI / RCI-CRR registration mandatory
• Minimum 5 years paid experience in special education with disabled children

For District Accounts Officer (Post 10):

• Graduate (B.Com 60% Accountancy OR B.B.A. Finance 60%) + PG (M.Com Accountancy 55% OR MBA Finance 55%)
• Tally software certificate from a recognised institute
• 3 years paid experience in audit / accounts / financial management

For MIS Coordinator (Post 11):

• B.E. Computer (60%) / B.E. IT (60%), OR Graduate + MCA (55%), OR Graduate + M.Sc Computer Science / IT (55%)
• 3 years paid experience as System Analyst or Programmer

For Civil Engineer (Post 15):

• B.E. Civil with minimum 60%, plus 5 years construction experience (OR M.E. Civil with 60% plus 3 years experience)
• Computer knowledge required
• Must know Gujarati, Hindi, and English (reading, writing, speaking)

For Assistant Architect (Post 16):

• B.E. Architecture with 60% + 2 years experience as Architect, OR Diploma Architecture (60%) + 3 years experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit software required

For Block Coordinator / BRP posts:

• Graduate with 50% + B.Ed (for BRP posts); or PGDCA/B.E./MCA for Block MIS

For KGBV Warden cum Head Teacher (Female only):

• Graduate (50%) + PG with B.Ed
• 3 years paid teaching experience in KGBV-type residential schools

For KGBV Accountant (Female only):

• Graduate B.Com / BBA with 55% in Accountancy
• Tally software certificate from a recognised institute

For Boys Hostel Warden (Male only):

• Graduate (50%) + PG + B.Ed
• 3 years paid experience in residential school management

Additional requirements for all posts:

• Computer knowledge is compulsory — government-issued certificate required
• Knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi and English (written and spoken) is desirable

Age Limit

• For Post 1 (State IED Co-ordinator): Maximum 50 years
• For Post 20 (KGBV Warden cum Head Teacher): Maximum 40 years
• For Posts 2 to 19 and Posts 21 to 25: As per State Government norms (upper age limit applies)
• Age is calculated as on the last date of online application (05 June 2026)
• Age relaxation is applicable as per state government rules

Salary

• State Officer In-charge: Rs. 35,000 per month
• Civil Engineer / Assistant Architect / ADC MIS: Rs. 30,000 per month
• Project Coordinator / Assistant Officer In-charge / ADC posts: Rs. 27,000 per month
• Warden cum Head Teacher (KGBV) / Boys Hostel Warden: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Block MIS Coordinator: Rs. 23,000 per month
• Block Resource Person (BRP): Rs. 22,000 per month
• Assistant Warden (KGBV / Boys Hostel): Rs. 15,000 per month
• Accountant (Non-Resident, KGBV / Boys Hostel): Rs. 8,500 per month
• All salaries are monthly fixed consolidated amounts — no DA, HRA, or allowances since contract is for 11 months.

Selection Process

Selection differs by post:

1. For Posts 1 to 14 and Post 16 (Officer In-charge, ADC, Assistant Architect): Merit list prepared based on 70% qualification/experience marks + 30% interview marks.
2. For Post 15 (Civil Engineer): Selection through 50 marks online application merit + 30 marks written exam + 20 marks oral interview = 100 marks total.
3. For Posts 17 to 25 (Block / KGBV / Boys Hostel posts): Merit list of 100 marks prepared from online application scrutiny at state level. No interview — only merit-based district allocation.
4. Document Verification: Originals verified at the interview / final allocation stage.

For posts marked with female-only or male-only conditions, only applications matching the gender requirement will be considered.

6. Click Preview, verify all details, and then click Submit.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for the interview / verification stage.
8. Submit before 05 June 2026 (23:59 hours).

• Supervise KGBV residential schools or boys hostels (for warden posts) and ensure student welfare
• Prepare reports and submit progress updates to the State Project Office, Gandhinagar
• Coordinate with district education officials, teachers, and field staff
• Conduct field visits, school monitoring, and inspection activities
• Plan and execute civil construction / architecture work for school infrastructure (for engineer/architect posts)
