Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) is the nodal government agency under the Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Government of Maharashtra. It works to boost the innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state. MSInS has invited online applications for 9 contract-basis positions covering Partnerships & Outreach, Incubator, Startups, Entrepreneurship, Media & Communication and Young Professional Fellow roles. There is no written exam — selection is purely through interview.

All posts are based at the MSInS office in Mumbai on a contract basis.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Manager (Partnerships & Outreach):

• Post-Graduation in Marketing, Communication or a similar relevant field

For Assistant Manager (Incubator):

• Post-Graduation in any discipline along with Graduation in Technology, Economics, Business Administration or Design

For Assistant Manager (Startups):

• Post-Graduation in any discipline along with Graduation in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or Design

For Assistant Manager (Entrepreneurship):

• Post-Graduation in any discipline

For Assistant Manager (Media & Communication):

• Graduation in Media, Journalism, Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or a similar field (Essential)

For Young Professional Fellow:

• Graduate or Master's in Economics, Public Policy, Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Sales, Media, Journalism, Communication or Literature

Age Limit

• Assistant Manager (all posts): Maximum 40 years as on the last date of application
• Young Professional Fellow: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Screening of Online Applications: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection is based on interview performance.

• Support MSInS programs that boost innovation-driven entrepreneurship in Maharashtra
• Manage partnerships, outreach and collaborations with incubators, startups and ecosystem partners
• Coordinate with incubators, accelerators and startup teams across the state
• Assist in execution of flagship programs like Maharashtra Startup Week, Grand Challenge and Startup Yatra
• Prepare media content, press releases and communication material for MSInS initiatives
• Track performance of startup ecosystem programs and prepare reports for the leadership
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, events and policy consultations as required
