Who Can Apply?

Resource Person and Special Educator Posts

• Resource Person for CWSN: You need Graduate with B.Ed Special Education, or B.Ed General with a special education diploma/certificate, or another RCI-approved equivalent qualification.
• Special Educator (Secondary): You need B.Ed Special Education in the respective category or an equivalent RCI-recognised qualification for Intellectual Disability/Mentally Retarded category.
• RCI Registration: Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India is required for special education posts.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience is desirable for CWSN and Special Educator posts.

Teacher Posts

• Primary Teacher: You need Class XII with required marks and D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed/Special Education diploma, or graduation with D.El.Ed/B.Ed as mentioned in the notice.
• Upper Primary Teacher: You need B.A./B.Sc./B.Com with D.El.Ed or B.Ed, or Class XII with 4-year B.El.Ed/B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.Com.Ed, or B.Ed Special Education as mentioned in the notice.
• TET: Primary and Upper Primary Teacher applicants must have passed TET conducted by the Central Government or a State Government as per NCTE guidelines.
• Medium: You should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level. This condition is not applicable for Gujarati, Hindi and English language subjects.

Instructor and Counselling Posts

• Career Counselling: You need graduation with a career counselling diploma/PG diploma, or a Master's in Psychology. Relevant school counselling experience is preferred.
• Music Instructor: You need Class XII with at least 50% marks and a degree/diploma/certificate in music.
• Health & Physical Instructor: You need Class XII with at least 50% marks and physical education qualification such as diploma/B.P.Ed as mentioned.
• Work Education Computer Instructor: You need Class XII with at least 50% marks and BCA, B.Sc Computer, B.Sc IT, or a bachelor's degree with PGDCA.

Age Limit

• Resource Person for CWSN and Academic Resource Person: Maximum age is 35 years.
• Primary Teacher, Upper Primary Teacher, Part Time Instructor and Special Educator: Maximum age is 30 years.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Central Government orders and instructions.
• Age Reference: The application form asks for age as on the date of interview, 28 May 2026.

Salary

• Special Educator (Secondary): Rs. 27,000 per month
• Resource Person for CWSN: Rs. 25,780 per month
• Academic Resource Person for Career Counselling: Rs. 25,780 per month
• Primary Teacher and Upper Primary Teacher: Rs. 23,000 per month
• Part Time Instructor: Rs. 12,100 per month
• The pay is a fixed monthly salary for the short-term contract engagement.

Selection Process

Samagra Shiksha Diu will conduct selection during the walk-in process at the interview venue.

1. Document Check: Carry the filled application and all required proof in hard copy.
2. Written/Practical Test: The notice says candidates must score at least 40% marks in the written/practical test where applicable.
3. Classroom Demonstration: Primary and Upper Primary Teacher applicants will give a classroom demonstration during the interview.
4. Practical Test: Part Time Work Education candidates will take a practical test at the time of interview.
5. Interview: Final assessment will happen through the walk-in interview process.
