This is a regular (permanent) appointment with salary up to Rs. 2,20,000 per month. RVNL is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways (Government of India). It handles major railway construction, metro rail, bridge construction, tunnelling, and highway infrastructure projects across India and overseas. Under Advertisement No. 17/2025, RVNL invited applications for 29 vacancies in the Electrical discipline on a regular basis for posting anywhere in India.

Who Can Apply?

Sr. Deputy General Manager (E-5)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or combination of engineering branches where electrical is one branch) from any recognized institute/university
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in Govt/CPSE or 14 years in private sector in electrical works (Railway Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Metro Railway, Energy Transmission & Distribution, Infrastructure Projects)

Manager (E-2)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics with not less than 60% marks from any recognized institute/university
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in Govt/CPSE or 8 years in private sector in relevant electrical works

Deputy Manager (E-1)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics with not less than 60% marks
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Govt/CPSE or 5 years in private sector in relevant electrical works

Assistant Manager (E-0)

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or combination with electrical as one branch) with not less than 60% marks
• Experience: Minimum 6 years in Govt or CPSE, or 6 years in private sector (min CTC Rs. 8 Lakhs per annum)

Relevant electrical work experience includes: Railway Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy (Solar etc.), Metro Railway electrical work (E&M and tractions), Energy Transmission & Distribution works, and Infrastructure Projects in PSUs.

Age Limit

• Sr. DGM (E-5): Maximum 48 years
• Manager (E-2): Maximum 40 years
• Dy. Manager (E-1): Maximum 35 years
• Assistant Manager (E-0): Maximum 35 years
• Age as on: 27.08.2025
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India guidelines
• RVNL Regular/Contract/Outsource employees get age relaxation equal to their period of service

Salary

• Sr. DGM (E-5): Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 (IDA) + Applicable Allowances + PRP
• Manager (E-2): Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 (IDA) + Applicable Allowances + PRP
• Dy. Manager (E-1): Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000 (IDA) + Applicable Allowances + PRP
• Assistant Manager (E-0): Rs. 30,000 - 1,20,000 (IDA) + Applicable Allowances + PRP

RVNL offers attractive pay, perks, and allowances as per company policy. Statutory deductions for EPF, Income Tax, and Professional Tax apply.

Selection Process

1. Written Test -- Scheduled for 03 May 2026 at Delhi. Venue and time will be shared through the admit card.
2. Interview -- For candidates who qualify the written test
3. Document Verification -- Original documents including educational qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and identity proof
4. Medical Examination -- As per RVNL's company policy
