RITES Limited, a Government of India Navratna enterprise, is engaging senior rail and infrastructure experts for its general consultancy work on the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor. The assignment covers the corridor from Palwal to Sonipat through Sohna, Manesar and Kharkhoda, bringing together civil construction, contract management, viaduct, signalling and electrical design expertise. This engagement is meant for retired Government or PSU professionals who can move into a client-facing consultancy role with substantial railway-project experience.

Posts and Disciplines

• Chief Resident Engineer Civil: leads site-side supervision for railway earthworks, bridges, tunnels and station buildings, with a strong focus on coordinating the civil package.
• Chief Contract and Infrastructure Expert: handles project and contract management, arbitration matters and infrastructure-package coordination; experience with FIDIC or multilateral-development-bank projects is preferred.
• CRE Viaduct: concentrates on viaduct construction and supervision, including pile foundations, open foundations and related railway structures.
• Chief Design Expert S and T: guides signalling and telecommunication design involving interlocking systems and railway signalling interfaces.
• Chief Design Expert Electrical: leads railway-electrification design, especially overhead equipment and power-supply-installation systems.

Post-wise Duties

Chief Resident Engineer Civil

You will coordinate field supervision, review construction quality and keep the client informed about civil-package progress and risks. Your railway experience should help the team resolve interface issues across structures and station works.

Chief Contract and Infrastructure Expert

You will guide the team on contract administration, project controls and arbitration-related matters. You will also support decisions where commercial terms and construction delivery affect each other.

CRE Viaduct

You will oversee viaduct and foundation activities, check design-to-site coordination and flag construction issues that could affect safety, quality or progress.

Chief Design Expert S and T

You will review signalling designs and coordinate with contractors, consultants and system suppliers on interlocking and railway S and T interfaces. Your role connects design decisions with workable site implementation.

Chief Design Expert Electrical

You will review electrification designs, resolve technical interfaces and guide delivery of OHE and PSI systems for the corridor. The work calls for practical knowledge of railway electrical standards and design coordination.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the initial contract runs for one year and may continue until the assignment is completed, subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance.
• Client approval: actual deployment and the final fixed pay depend on the client's approval of the selected professional's CV.
• Employment background: this drive is specifically for retired Government or PSU employees with the stated professional record.
• Service record: anyone who received a major or minor penalty during the last five years of service cannot be considered.
• Project base: the work is tied to the Haryana rail-corridor consultancy and may involve coordination across its project locations.
