Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd) is a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, engaged in manufacturing and marketing fertilizers and industrial chemicals, with revenue of around Rs. 18,690.90 crore. Its manufacturing units are located at Thal (Dist. Raigad) and Trombay, Mumbai, backed by a national-level marketing network. Under Advertisement No. 30062026, RCF has invited applications from its retired employees for 2 Technical Advisor posts in the Chemical discipline at the Ammonia Plant, RCF Thal Unit. This is a special re-engagement scheme for superannuated employees with deep plant experience. Only ex-RCF employees who retired from Engineer to Senior Manager level are eligible — this is not open to fresh or external candidates. The engagement is for six months and involves working in rotational shifts to guide plant operations.

Who Can Apply?

• Eligibility: You must have retired from RCF in a position ranging from Engineer to Senior Manager.
• Experience: You need at least 15 years of hands-on experience in both panel and field operations within the RCF Ammonia Plant.
• Work Condition: You must be willing to work in rotational shifts at the Ammonia Plant.
• Eligibility Cut-off Date: All eligibility criteria are assessed as on 1 June 2026.

Age Limit

• Your age must be below 65 years while applying for this post.
• Superannuated employees can be engaged as Advisor up to a maximum age of 65 years.

Salary

• You will get a lump sum remuneration of 80% of your last drawn Basic Pay plus DA.
• If you retain RCF Township accommodation after retirement, remuneration is reduced to 70% of last drawn Basic Pay plus DA, and you will need to pay ALF, water, and electricity charges as per company rules.
• You will get facilities such as medical, TA/DA, and Sports Club access as applicable to your last regular RCF employment.
• You will not be eligible for PF, Gratuity, Earned Leave, Medical Leave, or PRP.
• You will get casual leave at 1 day per month plus RCF holidays.

Selection Process

Selection is entirely through a Personal Interview — there is no written exam.

1. Application Screening: RCF checks your eligibility based on the details and documents you submit by email.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are interviewed in person, by video conference, or online. The interview carries 100 marks — Personality & Communication (15), Subject Knowledge (50), Nature of Experience (20), and General Awareness/Computer Knowledge (15). You need at least 50% average marks to qualify.

Being shortlisted for interview does not automatically mean RCF is satisfied with your eligibility — the company's decision on eligibility and shortlisting is final and binding.
