Who Can Apply?

Grade B General

For the General cadre, you need Graduation with 60% marks or a postgraduate/equivalent qualification with 55% marks. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates get the lower marks condition stated in the notice where the posts are reserved for them.

Grade B DEPR

For DEPR, you need an MA or MSc in Economics or Finance, including listed related subjects, with at least 55% marks. For SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, the minimum is 50% marks where the posts are reserved. A doctorate, research or teaching experience, or publication in Economics is listed as desirable.

Grade B DSIM

For DSIM, you need a relevant Master's degree with 55% in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Econometrics, or related areas. A 4-year Bachelor's degree with 60% in specified Statistics/Data Science fields is also accepted. SC, ST, and PwBD candidates have the lower 50% condition where applicable.

Age Limit

• Age as on: 01 April 2026.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• Maximum age: 30 years for the base condition.
• Date of birth window: Not earlier than 02 April 1996 and not later than 01 April 2005.
• Relaxation: SC/ST up to 5 years, OBC up to 3 years, PwBD up to 10/13/15 years depending on category, and other relaxations as listed in the notice.

Selection Process
