The posts are spread across the Strategic Planning and Product Innovation Department (SPPID), the Department of Climate Action and Sustainability (DCAS), and the Finance Department (FD). Who Can Apply?

For Application Architect, Technology Architect and Data Architect (Rs. 24-42 lakh p.a.):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or Electronics & Communications with minimum 60% marks, OR a Postgraduate degree such as M.E./M.Tech/MS/MCA in a related field
• Experience: You need at least 10 years in IT with a minimum of 3 years in the relevant architecture domain (application, technology, or data architecture)
• Desirable: TOGAF/UML certification, and cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP) for the Technology Architect post

For Carbon Consultant (Rs. 25-30 lakh p.a.):

• Qualification: Graduation in Climate Resilient Agriculture, Water Resource Management, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Engineering or Development Studies with minimum 55% marks
• Experience: Around 4 years of relevant professional experience in climate change, sustainability or carbon finance projects

For Climate Change Specialist - Mitigation (Rs. 30 lakh p.a.):

• Qualification: Master's Degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, Climate Science, Sustainable Development, Development Studies or a related field
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 4 years in climate change, sustainability or socio-environmental projects

For Specialist - Derivatives and Treasury Risk Management (Rs. 30-45 lakh p.a.):

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics or Statistics; CA/CFA/FRM/MBA (Finance) is desirable
• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in treasury, market risk, ALM or derivatives in a bank, NBFC, or RBI/SEBI/IFSCA regulated entity

Age Limit

• For Application Architect, Technology Architect and Data Architect: you should be between 30 and 45 years old as on 01 June 2026.
• For Carbon Consultant: you should be between 27 and 35 years old as on 01 June 2026.
• For Climate Change Specialist - Mitigation and Specialist - Derivatives and Treasury Risk Management: you should be between 35 and 55 years old as on 01 June 2026.

Salary

• Application Architect, Technology Architect, Data Architect: Rs. 24 lakh to Rs. 42 lakh per annum (consolidated, all-inclusive)
• Carbon Consultant: Rs. 25 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh per annum
• Climate Change Specialist - Mitigation: Rs. 30 lakh per annum
• Specialist - Derivatives and Treasury Risk Management: Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 45 lakh per annum
• You will not get provident fund, pension or gratuity, but you may get Travelling & Halting Allowance, House Rent Allowance (10%) or accommodation, and an annual increment of up to 10% based on performance.

Application Fee

• SC / ST / PwBD: No application fee (only Rs. 150 intimation charges)
• All other categories: Rs. 700 application fee + Rs. 150 intimation charges = Rs. 850 total (exclusive of GST)

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

NABARD will select candidates through a single stage:
