Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) is engaging Medical Officers for its University Health Centre at the Rajendranagar campus in Hyderabad. PJTAU has arranged separate daytime shifts for a male doctor and a female doctor, allowing the health centre to provide medical cover across most of the working day.

• Medical Officer: The male doctor's duty period runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the University Health Centre.
• Lady Medical Officer: The female doctor's duty period runs from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, extending the centre's service into the afternoon.

Both assignments support the same Rajendranagar campus community and call for the same core medical qualification, professional registration and experience. The separate shifts are an operational arrangement rather than different clinical specialities.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The first contract is for six months. PJTAU may extend it further, but the notification does not promise an automatic renewal.
• Campus residence: Selected doctors must stay within the Rajendranagar campus in the accommodation arranged by the university. This supports availability to the campus community.
• Professional standing: Your Telangana Medical Council registration must remain valid, and any current employer must be informed through the required clearance.
• Shortlisting: PJTAU will call only eligible shortlisted applicants for the interview. You should be ready to show the originals supporting your application when you attend.
• Selection authority: The university selection committee's decision is final for this engagement, and PJTAU may cancel the notification without a further notice.
• Travel: No travel or daily allowance is provided for attending the interview, so you will need to arrange your own journey to Rajendranagar.
