Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Jorhat is hiring 5 Associate Consultants to mentor interns under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). This walk-in is only for retired ONGC E4-E5 executives from Drilling or Production disciplines with at least 5 years of relevant field experience. The walk-in interview will be held on 25 May 2026 at ONGC Officers Club, Cinnamara, Jorhat. The consolidated monthly payment is Rs. 88,000.

ONGC PMIS Associate Consultant Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

ONGC Assam & Assam Arakan Basin and Jorhat Asset has released advertisement number Jorhat/HR/PMIS/Mentor-2026-27/01 dated 13 May 2026. The consultants will mentor interns engaged through PMIS for a period up to 15 November 2026 or until the selected person completes 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. This is a contract engagement for retired ONGC personnel, and it does not give any right to regular employment.

The assignment is meant for experienced retired executives who can guide interns in practical ONGC field conditions. The notice covers Drilling and Production related disciplines at Jorhat, Assam. Selected persons may have to work at assigned locations and may also need to work extended hours or holidays when required for PMIS mentoring work.

Who Can Apply?

This walk-in is not open to freshers or people from outside ONGC retirement background. It is specifically for retired ONGC executives who match the level and discipline requirements.

Age Limit

• You should be less than 64 years at the time of engagement.
• The notice states that the date of birth should fall between 15 May 1962 and 15 May 1966.
• Engagement will end on 15 November 2026 or on completion of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

Salary

• Total monthly consolidated payment: Rs. 88,000 per month.
• This includes Rs. 40,000 honorarium, Rs. 13,000 conveyance reimbursement, Rs. 13,000 office-at-residence reimbursement, Rs. 2,000 communication reimbursement, and Rs. 20,000 N-E compensation.
• 80% of the monthly honorarium is paid monthly, while the balance 20% is paid after performance assessment and completion of assigned work.
• Mobile bill reimbursement is available up to Rs. 2,000 per month on submission of bill or invoice.
• No other regular employee benefits, allowances, facilities, or incentives are admissible for this contract engagement.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through walk-in recruitment on 25 May 2026.

1. Document Verification: Bring service certificate, retired employee identity card, date of birth proof, Aadhaar card, and education certificates.
2. Interview: ONGC will evaluate your ONGC work experience, qualification level in ONGC, and interview performance.
3. Medical Fitness: Final joining is allowed only if you are found medically fit by the I/C Medical Services, ONGC Jorhat.
4. Contract Formalities: Selected persons have to sign an agreement or contract for the engagement period.

No TA, DA, or accommodation will be paid for attending the interview, so plan travel and stay arrangements yourself.
