For Block Project Manager (BPM):

Age Limit

  • You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 1 January 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit is available as per Chhattisgarh Government rules and orders issued by the General Administration Department from time to time.

Salary

  • Block Project Manager (BPM): Rs. 39,875 per month (consolidated, contractual)
  • Accountant (Lekhapal): Rs. 23,350 per month (consolidated, contractual)
  • The contract is initially for 1 year and may be extended based on performance and departmental needs.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

  2. Computer Practical Exam and Interview: Shortlisted candidates (at a ratio of 1:10) will be called for a computer practical test and interview via registered post and email. Interview carries 15 marks for BPM and 10 marks for Accountant.
  3. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified before issuing the appointment order.
  4. Medical Examination: A medical certificate from the district hospital must be submitted after appointment. If found unfit, the appointment will be automatically cancelled.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the implementation and monitoring of NRLM activities at the block level, including Self Help Group (SHG) formation and strengthening.
  • Manage and supervise field coordinators and community cadres working under the rural livelihoods mission.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports on project implementation and submit them to the District Mission Management Unit.
  • Keep accurate financial records, maintain books of accounts, and process bills and vouchers for the NRLM programme.
  • Work with community institutions like Village Organizations and Cluster Level Federations to promote livelihood opportunities for rural poor families.
  • Assist in organizing capacity building programmes, training sessions, and skill development workshops for SHG members.
  • Monitor bank linkage and credit disbursement to SHGs and ensure timely repayment follow-ups.
