About This Job

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) is hiring 1 Gynecologist (Stree Rog Visheshagya) on contract under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund. If you hold an MS/MD/DGO (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) degree and have live registration with the Medical Council, you can attend the walk-in interview on 3 June 2026. Salary is Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 1,75,000 per month (negotiable) as a consolidated honorarium.

DMFT Rajnandgaon Gynecologist Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of Collector, District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), Rajnandgaon has issued a walk-in advertisement to strengthen district-level health services. The post is filled through merit-based walk-in selection — there is no written exam. Candidates with experience in the relevant specialisation will get preference. Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: Postgraduate degree (MS/MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognised university, OR Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO) from a recognised university.

  • Maximum age: As per the upper age limit fixed by Chhattisgarh Government rules

Salary

  • Consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 1,75,000 per month (negotiable)
  • TDS (income tax) will be deducted from the contract salary as per rules
  • No pension, gratuity, or death benefits will be given during the contract period

Selection Process

Selection is purely on the basis of walk-in and merit. There is no written exam.

  1. Walk-in Interview at the Office of Chief Medical and Health Officer, Rajnandgaon, in front of the Gurudwara.
  2. Merit List Publication: Eligible / ineligible candidate list published on 3 June 2026.
  3. Claim and Objection: Submit objections by 1:00 PM on 3 June 2026.
  4. Final Merit List: Published on 3 June 2026 after disposing of objections.
  5. Document verification before joining.

Responsibilities

  • Handle outpatient and inpatient gynaecology care at district health facilities
  • Conduct deliveries, caesarean sections, and emergency obstetric care
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies and refer cases when needed
  • Run antenatal, postnatal, and family planning clinics
  • Perform routine gynaecological surgeries and procedures
  • Maintain patient records and follow government health protocols
  • Train junior doctors, nurses, and ASHA workers on women's health
  • Follow Chhattisgarh Civil Services Conduct Rules 1965 and Contract Recruitment Rules 2012

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Postgraduate (MS/MD) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO) from a recognised university, with live registration in Medical Council

Preferred Qualification

Experience in the related specialisation
