Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a large-scale direct recruitment drive under Advertisement Numbers Est/02/2025, Est/03/2025, and Est/04/2025. This recruitment covers 132 vacancies spread across three groups: Group A with 12 engineering posts, Group B with 7 administrative and legal posts, and Group C with 113 medical and veterinary posts. Medical specialists and doctors make up the majority of vacancies, making this a significant opportunity for MBBS graduates with post-graduate qualifications. Who Can Apply?

For Junior Engineer (Electrical) - Group A

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution

For Junior Engineer (Mechanical) - Group A

• Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution

For Assistant Commissioner - Group B

• Qualification: Graduate Degree with knowledge of Marathi language

For Municipal Deputy Secretary - Group B

• Qualification: Graduate Degree with Law qualification or legal experience

For Assistant Law Officer - Group B

• Qualification: Graduate Degree with LLB and knowledge of Marathi language

For Medical Posts (Specialist, Surgeon, Gynecologist, etc.) - Group C

• Qualification: MBBS with relevant MD/MS/DNB or PG specialization in the concerned field

For Junior Medical Officer - Group C

• Qualification: MBBS with relevant post-graduate qualification

For Veterinary Officer - Group C

• Qualification: Degree in Veterinary Science with relevant experience

Knowledge of Marathi language is required for administrative posts.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 38 years old as on 4 February 2026.
• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years age relaxation (upper age limit up to 43 years)
• OBC Candidates: 3 years age relaxation (upper age limit up to 41 years)
• PwD Candidates: Age relaxation as per Maharashtra Government rules

Salary

• Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical): Rs. 38,600 to Rs. 1,22,800 per month
• Municipal Deputy Secretary / Assistant Law Officer: Rs. 41,600 to Rs. 1,32,300 per month
• Assistant Commissioner / Junior Medical Officer: Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
• Medical Specialists, Surgeons, Gynecologist & other specialists: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month
• You will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per Maharashtra Government rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / Other Categories: Rs. 1,000
• SC / ST / PwD: Rs. 900

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test): Objective-type MCQ exam covering Marathi, English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and subject-related topics. Total 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours.
2. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called to verify their certificates, mark sheets, and identity documents.
3. Personal Interview / Skill Test: Depending on the post, you may need to appear for a personal interview or skill-based assessment.
4. Medical Examination: Final selected candidates must pass a medical fitness test.

The final merit list will be prepared based on your combined performance across all stages.

How to Apply

2. Click on "New Registration" and enter your name, contact details, and email ID to generate a temporary registration number and password.
3. Fill in all the required details in the online application form carefully.
4. Upload your scanned photograph (passport size, 200x230 pixels, 20-50 KB) and signature (140x60 pixels, 10-20 KB) as per the guidelines.
5. Click on the "Payment" tab and pay the application fee through the available online modes.
6. Review all entered details. Once you click "Complete Registration", no changes will be allowed.
7. Submit the application and save a printout for your records.
