National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra has released Advt. No. 12/2026 for 3 project staff posts under an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored project at the Department of Business Administration. The project is titled "Smart Village CyberSafe Helpline: An ML and Generative AI Powered Cybersecurity Support & Fraud Analysis System for Rural India". There is no written exam — shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (online or offline).

Who Can Apply?

For Research Assistant (Rs. 37,000/month)

• Essential: Post Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

For Field Investigator (Rs. 20,000/month)

• Essential: Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Preferred: Candidates with a four-year degree programme (e.g., B.Tech) will be given preference.
• Preferred: Research or industrial experience; technical knowledge of R and Python.

Age Limit

• Age limit and relaxations shall be as per Government of India norms for project staff posts.

Salary

• Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000 per month (consolidated)
• Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview or for joining the post.

• Help build the ML and Generative AI-powered cybersecurity helpline prototype
• Prepare research reports, project deliverables and publications
• Maintain accurate records of all field visits and data collected
• Coordinate with the Co-PI and other project staff on assigned tasks
