NIELIT Chief Resource Person (Technical Cum Management) Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Srinagar/Jammu, functioning under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Chief Resource Person (Technical Cum Management) under the EELTP project. This is a short-term contractual position initially up to January 2027 or one year (whichever is earlier), with a possible extension based on performance and project requirement. The role is based at NIELIT Jammu (New University Campus, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Road, Jammu).

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Minimum BE/B.Tech (First Class) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electronics & Communications
• OR M.Sc. (First Class) in Electronics, Applied Electronics, Physics, CS, or IT
• OR MCA (First Class)
• OR B-Level from NIELIT (First Class)
• Degree must be from a recognised University or Institution
• Candidates with last semester results awaited or incomplete degrees are not eligible

Experience

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Project Coordination or Management
• Experience in a Government Organisation, Autonomous Body under Government, or PSU is preferred

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years (for regular candidates)
• Maximum age: 62 years for retired candidates
• Cut-off date for age calculation as per the 2024 advertisement: 01/06/2024. Check official notification for updated cut-off date for this April 2026 advertisement.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 80,000 per month
• No other allowances are paid — no PF, pension, insurance, gratuity, HRA, or TA
• If you are already an EPF member, you may continue under EPF Act. In that case, total remuneration will be adjusted accordingly.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a single stage:

1. Interview: Conducted in offline mode at NIELIT Jammu for Jammu-resident candidates. For candidates from outside Jammu, the interview will be held in online mode. Interview schedule will be published on nielit.gov.in/srinagar. Shortlisted candidates will also be called for Document Verification before joining.
