NID Assam Sports Instructor Recruitment 2026

National Institute of Design (NID) Assam is hiring a Sports Instructor on a part-time basis through a walk-in interview. If you have a B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed degree with at least 10 years of coaching experience, you can attend the walk-in on 8 July 2026 at the NID Assam campus in Jorhat. You will be paid Rs. 2,000 per day and the maximum age is 45 years.

NID Assam Sports Instructor Recruitment 2026 (Part-Time)

National Institute of Design (NID), Assam will hold a walk-in interview to engage a Sports Instructor for its students' physical fitness activities. This is a purely temporary and contractual role for 2 to 3 days per week, based on the Institute's need. There is no online form — you just need to attend the walk-in with your documents. This engagement does not give any right to a regular appointment or to continue beyond the approved period. Experienced physical education professionals are encouraged to attend.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) from a recognised university or institution
• Experience: At least 10 years of coaching, training, or conducting sports and fitness activities in educational institutions

Preferred (Desirable)

• Certification from recognised sports authorities or federations
• Experience organising inter-college or inter-school sports events and tournaments
• Ability to train students in many sports and fitness programmes
• Past association with educational institutes

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years

Salary

• You will be paid Rs. 2,000 per day (all-inclusive) for each day of engagement
• The Institute will engage you for 2 to 3 days per week as per its need
• No TA, DA, or any other allowance will be given

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 8 July 2026 at 10:00 AM with your CV and original documents.
2. Document Verification: You must show all original certificates. Without originals, you will not be allowed to sit for the interview.

The decision of the Selection Committee will be final.
