National Film Development Corporation Ltd. (NFDC), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has released Advertisement No. ADV-59/Contractual/20/05/2026 for the post of General Manager - Media & Communication at its Mumbai Head Office. This is a contract role for one year, extendable up to three years, with hiring done through an outsourced agency selected by NFDC. The selected candidate will head the Media and Communication Unit, manage brand-building for NFDC's Film Festivals, NMIC, and NFAI, and drive the corporation's social and digital media presence.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication, Film Studies, Mass Media, Journalism, or Marketing

Experience

• 15 years total experience, with minimum 10 years in a senior managerial position of a reputed private or public sector undertaking or government organisation
• Minimum 7 years in corporate communications, PR, media planning, or journalism

Key Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team management and networking ability
• Strong grasp of social and digital media tools and technologies

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 55 years
• The management may relax age or qualification for deserving candidates

Salary

• Consolidated pay: Rs. 2,00,000 per month
