Under the National Ayush Mission, Chandrapur district has 21 approved Ayushman Arogya Vardhini Kendras. Out of these, 5 centres need a Part-Time Yoga Instructor to conduct yoga sessions. The recruitment is being done by the District Selection Committee (Ayush) of Zilla Parishad Chandrapur through advertisement number 1 dated 26 May 2026. Selected instructors will work in Korpana, Jivati and Gondpipri talukas of Chandrapur district.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must hold a degree or diploma in Yoga (minimum 1 year) from a Yoga-teaching university or recognised institution
• Both male and female candidates can apply (separate selection for male and female)
• You should be willing to work at the assigned Ayush Arogya Vardhini Kendra in Korpana, Jivati or Gondpipri taluka

Salary

• Monthly Honorarium: Rs. 8,000 per month
• Hourly Rate: Rs. 250 per hour
• Minimum Work: You must conduct at least 32 yoga sessions per month (one session = one hour)
• The Medical Officer of the Arogya Vardhini Centre will prepare your duty roster and you will conduct sessions accordingly

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done by the District Selection Committee (Ayush) chaired by the District Health Officer, Zilla Parishad Chandrapur. The process is:

1. Application Screening: Applications received by the deadline are checked for eligibility
2. Selection by District Committee: The District Selection Committee (Ayush) evaluates eligible candidates and makes the final selection
3. Document Verification: Original documents are verified before appointment

• Conduct yoga sessions at the assigned Ayushman Arogya Vardhini Kendra
• Organise at least 32 yoga sessions per month (one session per hour)
• Conduct 12 sessions per month at field locations like schools, ashram schools, colleges, gram panchayats, mahila bachat gats, senior citizen sanghs and other government / non-government institutions
• Train ASHAs, Arogya Sevikas, Arogya Sevaks and other staff to improve their yoga teaching capacity
• Assist the Medical Officer, ASHA and health workers in conducting yoga-related awareness campaigns
• Prepare monthly reports and yoga-related documents and submit them to the centre
• Help organise large community-level yoga awareness drives at least twice a year
• Ensure good attendance and participation at large yoga sessions and events
