The Department of Health & Family Welfare, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (DNHDD) has released advertisement number DMHS/Specialists/Khanvel-SDH/2025/203/1459 dated 27 May 2026 for filling 2 Specialist posts (1 Physician + 1 Gynecologist) at Khanvel Sub District Hospital and 6 Medical Officer posts at NAMO Hospital, Silvassa and Primary Health Centres. There is no written exam — selection is done through walk-in interview based on qualification and experience. Fresh MBBS doctors and experienced specialists are both welcome to apply.

Who Can Apply?

For Physician (1 Post)

• Qualification: MD / MS / DNB / Diploma in General Medicine with experience OR MD / MS / DNB / Diploma in Family Medicine with experience

For Gynecologist (1 Post)

• Qualification: MD / MS / DNB / Diploma in Gynecology with experience

For Medical Officer (6 Posts)

• Qualification: MBBS from a recognised university
• Internship: You must have completed the compulsory rotating internship

Age Limit

• Physician & Gynecologist: Not exceeding 45 years
• Medical Officer: Not exceeding 35 years

Salary

Specialist Posts (Physician / Gynecologist) at Khanvel SDH

• Degree holders (Fresh): Rs. 1,25,000 + Rs. 50,000 incentive = Rs. 1,75,000 per month
• Degree holders (with 5+ years experience): Rs. 1,75,000 + Rs. 50,000 incentive = Rs. 2,25,000 per month
• Diploma holders (Fresh): Rs. 90,000 + Rs. 50,000 incentive = Rs. 1,40,000 per month
• Diploma holders (with 5+ years experience): Rs. 1,25,000 + Rs. 50,000 incentive = Rs. 1,75,000 per month
• The Rs. 50,000 monthly incentive is paid by RKS (KSDH) / NHM for posting at Khanvel Sub District Hospital

Medical Officer Posts

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 70,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection process will be:

1. Application Screening: Applications that do not match the prescribed format or fail to meet eligibility will be rejected without notice
2. Walk-in Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview based on qualification and experience
3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be checked at the time of interview

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The Administration can terminate the selection process at any time without assigning a reason.

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients in the assigned hospital department
• Handle outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds and emergency duties as assigned
• Perform specialist procedures within your area of expertise (Medicine / Gynecology)
• Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions and patient case files
• Work in shifts including night calls, weekend duty and emergency cover
• Counsel patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care
• Supervise junior doctors, nursing staff and paramedical staff during duty hours
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control rules and government health programmes
