Selection Process
The selection will be done in 2 stages:
- Written Test: If a post gets a large number of applications, a category-wise merit list is first prepared using your qualifying degree marks, and only 20 times the number of vacancies (per category) are called for the Written Test. The test itself has 50 objective questions for 50 marks in 60 minutes, covering General Knowledge, Computer, Internet and Chhattisgarh current affairs, with 0.5 marks deducted per wrong answer. Based on your Written Test score, 10 times the vacancies per category are then shortlisted for the Skill Test.
- Skill Test: You must type a 250-word passage in Hindi and English on a computer (Ubuntu Linux, LibreOffice, Unicode font) within 10 minutes, worth 250 marks. One mark is deducted for every word left untyped or every mistake. Your final merit list is based only on Skill Test marks — the Written Test is used only for screening.
If two or more candidates score equal marks in the Skill Test, the older candidate (earlier date of birth) gets priority. If birth dates also match, preference goes alphabetically by name in English.
