District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Sri Ganganagar Para Legal Volunteer Recruitment 2026 - 29 Posts
DLSA Sri Ganganagar has released a notification to review, reassess and resize its panel of Para Legal Volunteers (Rights Friend), as directed by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) letter dated 29 November 2025. A total of 29 vacancies are open for residents of Sri Ganganagar district and its talukas, including Raysinghnagar, Anupgarh, Suratgarh, Ghadsana, Sri Karanpur, Sadulshahar, Padampur and Sri Vijaynagar. As a PLV, you will work under the guidance of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and RSLSA to spread legal awareness and connect people to legal aid schemes. There is no written exam for this recruitment — you'll go through document screening and a personal interview instead. This is a good opportunity if you want to do community legal aid work close to home.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must have passed the Senior Secondary (Class 12) exam from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education in Arts, Commerce or Science, or an equivalent government-recognized exam.
- Language: You need good and wide knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in the Devanagari script.
- Residence: You must be a resident of Sri Ganganagar district or its local taluka area.
- Fitness: You should be mentally and physically fit, with no condition that would come in the way of performing general duties.
- Preferred Background: PLVs are usually chosen from groups such as retired teachers or retired government employees, senior citizens, sociology graduates/postgraduates and teachers, Anganwadi workers or Sathins, Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers and social workers, members of non-political NGOs or clubs, and well-behaved reformed persons on parole — though the DLSA or Taluka Legal Services Committee can consider any other suitable person too.
- No criminal case should be registered against you in any police station or court.
Age Limit
- You should be at least 18 years old to apply, as mentioned in the official notification.
Salary
- Selected Para Legal Volunteers get a fixed honorarium of Rs. 750 per day, paid only for the days you actually work.
- No other salary, remuneration or package will be given — this is a voluntary community service role, not a regular salaried post.

Application Fee
- There is no application fee for this recruitment, and no fee is charged for the interview either.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
The selection will be done in the following stages:

- Evaluation by Committee: A Mulyankan Samiti (Evaluation Committee) reviews all valid applications and interview performance, then prepares a provisional list.
- Objection Window: The provisional list is uploaded on the official portal, and you can raise objections within the given time.
- Final Selection: The final panel of Para Legal Volunteers is prepared after considering all objections, and work is assigned as directed by RSLSA from time to time.
