Who Can Apply?

For Sahayak Grade-3 (Pay Level-4, Rs. 19,500-62,000):

• You must be a graduate from any recognized university
• You must have a 1-year Computer Diploma from a recognized board/university
• You should know Hindi and English typing on computer
• Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi (dialect)/local language is expected

For Bhritya/Peon (Pay Level-1, Rs. 15,600-49,400):

• You must have passed Class 8 from any recognized board
• Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi (dialect)/local language is expected

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 30 years old as on 1 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Chhattisgarh local/domicile candidates get relaxation up to 40 years.
• SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Women: get age relaxation as per state government rules, but the maximum age after all relaxations cannot exceed 45 years.
• Candidates from outside Chhattisgarh have a maximum age limit of 30 years, with no relaxation.
• Your date of birth will be verified using your High School/Higher Secondary certificate.

Salary

• Sahayak Grade-3: Pay Matrix Level-4, Rs. 19,500 to Rs. 62,000 per month, as per the Chhattisgarh Pay Revision Rules, 2017.
• Bhritya (Peon): Pay Matrix Level-1, Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 49,400 per month.

Selection Process

For Sahayak Grade-3, selection has 2 stages:

1. Written Exam: 50 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, covering Hindi, English, Computer Knowledge, General Knowledge, and Chhattisgarhi/local language. There is no negative marking.
2. Skill Test: Candidates are shortlisted at a ratio of 1:15 per category. The skill test has a Hindi typing passage (250 words in 10 minutes, 50 marks) and an English typing passage (300 words in 10 minutes, 50 marks) conducted on Ubuntu Linux. 1/5 mark is deducted for every error, including formatting mistakes like heading, bold, paragraph, and centering.

For Bhritya (Peon), selection has 2 stages:

1. Written Exam: 50 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, covering Hindi, English, General Knowledge, and Chhattisgarhi/local language. There is no negative marking.
2. Suitability Test: Candidates are shortlisted at a ratio of 1:5 per category, followed by a 50-mark suitability test and document verification.

Final merit for both posts is prepared category-wise, based on your marks in the last qualifying stage. If two candidates score the same, the one with the earlier date of birth gets priority.
