Keonjhar District Court Bench Clerk, Stenographer & Staff Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

The Office of the District Judge, Keonjhar has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 dated 29 July 2026 to fill 5 support-staff posts on an ad-hoc/temporary (contractual) basis, under the "Odisha Fast Track Special Courts (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Services) Scheme-2020". The scheme's full title — Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Services of retired Judicial Officers of the Cadre of District Judges and Staff including in-service Judicial Officers in the regular Cadre of District Judge, Ministerial Staff and Group-D Employees — shows it also covers retired District Judges and in-service judicial officers elsewhere, but this particular notice is limited to Ministerial Staff posts and one Group-D Peon post in Keonjhar. This route lets district courts quickly re-engage retired Ministerial Staff with a clean service record to keep Fast Track Special Courts fully staffed. Only retired employees can apply — this is not open to fresh candidates or those currently in government service. Keonjhar Judgeship itself was carved out from Mayurbhanj Judgeship in 1982 and today runs 7 sub-court stations across the district, including Anandapur, Champua, Ghasipura, Hatadihi, Telkoi, Barbil and Ghatagaon.
