MPPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has invited online applications for 949 Assistant Professor posts in the Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh. This is a great chance for candidates who want a permanent teaching job in government colleges across Madhya Pradesh.

The notification was released on 30 December 2025 (Advertisement No. 10/2025 to 18/2025). These are Gazetted Second Class permanent posts under Academic Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission.

Who Can Apply

• You need a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject.
• You must have cleared NET/SET/SLET. If you have a Ph.D., you do not need NET.
• Your age should be between 21 and 40 years.
• SC/ST/OBC/PwD and women candidates from MP get 5 years age relaxation.

Salary

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 57,700 to Rs 1,82,400 under Academic Level 10 (7th CPC). You will also get DA, HRA, TA, medical benefits, pension, and gratuity.

Selection Process

The selection has three stages:

1. Paper 1 (General Knowledge): 50 MCQs, 200 marks, 1 hour
2. Paper 2 (Subject): 150 MCQs, 600 marks, 3 hours
3. Interview: 100 marks

Total marks: 900. There is no negative marking. The exam will be held offline on OMR sheets.
