Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Mini Ratna-I and Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has released notification (Advt. No. MDN/HR/AT/02/26) for engagement of 43 apprentices for one year of training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1992. MIDHANI is a high-tech metallurgical company that makes super alloys, special steels, and titanium alloys for Defence, Space, and Atomic Energy sectors. Engineering graduates and diploma holders who passed out in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 across five disciplines can apply.

Who Can Apply?

Graduate Apprentices (GATs)

• A B.E. / B.Tech degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university, or from an Institution empowered by an Act of Parliament.
• Passing year must be 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TATs)

• A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education or a recognised university in the relevant discipline.
• Passing year must be 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Other Requirements

• You should not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
• You should not have one year or more work experience.
• Reservation for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwBD is followed as per Apprentices Act. Certificates in the prescribed Government format are mandatory.

Age Limit

• Age limit will be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rules.
• Standard Apprentices Act age range applies (minimum age 14 years).

Salary (Stipend)

• Graduate Apprentices (GATs): Rs. 12,300 per month
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TATs): Rs. 10,900 per month
• No additional allowances. No TA/DA for selection process. No boarding or lodging support.
• Training period is one year only. MIDHANI is under no obligation to offer employment after training.

Application Fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely merit-based against reservation categories — no written exam or interview.

1. Merit List: Based on 30% weightage of SSC (10th) + 70% weightage of Graduation/Diploma marks.
2. Document Verification: Of certificates — Age, Qualification, Category, Aadhar.
3. Police Verification / Clearance Certificate required.
4. Medical Fitness check before final selection.

How to Apply

1. Register on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in and get your Enrollment Number.
2. Wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval by BOAT (SR).
3. Login and click Establishment Request Menu → Find Establishment, search for MISHRA DHATU NIGAM LIMITED and apply through the portal.
4. Upload your resume and apply.
5. Take a printout of the application form.
