HAL Korwa ITI Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has opened applications for one-year apprenticeship training at its Avionics Division, Korwa, Amethi (UP). The training runs under the Apprentices Act 1961 across 15 ITI trades. Only NCVT-certified ITI passouts from 2023, 2024, and 2025 are eligible — SCVT board, Centre of Excellence (COE), and pre-2023 passouts are not eligible. Freshers who want hands-on training in a leading defence PSU should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 10th class under 10+2 system (12th for COPA) AND ITI in the relevant trade with National Trade Certificate from NCVT.
• Year of Passing: Only candidates who passed ITI in 2023, 2024, or 2025 can apply. Pre-2023 passouts are not eligible.
• Board: Only NCVT board certificates accepted. SCVT board and Centre of Excellence (COE) passouts are not eligible.
• Subject Requirement: Some trades (Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, RAC Mechanic, Draughtsman, Instrument Mechanic) need Science and/or Maths in 10th.
• Prior Apprenticeship: If you have already completed, resigned, terminated, or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, you are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 14 years
• Maximum age: 27 years (as on 03/06/2026)
• Age Relaxation: OBC — 3 years, SC/ST — 5 years
• PwBD: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC PwBD). Minimum 40% disability required.

Salary (Stipend)

• Apprentices will be paid a monthly stipend as per the rules of the Regional Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Kanpur.
• Stipend rates are revised from time to time by the Directorate.
• The apprenticeship training period is one year only.
• HAL has no obligation to offer employment after training is complete.

Application Fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is 100% merit-based — there is no written exam or interview.

1. Merit List: 70% weightage to 10th class total marks + 30% weightage to ITI total marks.
2. Reservation: Applied as per Apprentices Act 1961.
3. Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates verify originals at HAL Korwa.
4. Medical Fitness Certificate: Issued by Govt. CMO/CMS/Assistant Surgeon (Gazetted) — submit at the time of joining.
5. Police Verification: From Commissioner/SP of your home district — submit at joining.

2. Fill the Google Application Form linked in the notification carefully.
3. Mention your Apprentice Registration Number in the form.
4. Submit the Google Form only once — multiple submissions will use only the latest one.
5. Send only via Google Form — no other mode of application is accepted.
