Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in two tracks depending on the post, followed by document verification:

1. Track 1 — Direct Interview (for Specialists, Super-Specialists, MBBS Medical Officers): Candidates are scored on — Subject Knowledge (10), Research & Academic Knowledge (10), Leadership Quality (10), Administrative Abilities (10), Experience (10 — 2 marks/year for govt experience, 1 mark/year for private, max 10 marks). Total: 50 marks.
2. Track 2 — Merit-Based Scoring (for all other posts): Candidates are scored on — Minimum required qualification marks: 50% of final year total (converted to percentage), Additional qualification / PG marks: 20% of final year total, Required experience: 6 marks per year (max 30 marks). Total: 100 marks.
3. Document Verification: Top 50% of candidates from the merit list are called. Candidates absent on verification day are treated as ineligible and removed from the list.

• Provide clinical care and medical services at MBMC health facilities under the assigned programme (NHM / NTEP / NUHM / HBT)
• Maintain patient records, health registers, and programme reports as required by NHM guidelines
• Follow all clinical protocols and standard operating procedures set by the National Health Mission and Maharashtra government
• Assist in health outreach activities, community health camps, and awareness programmes in the MBMC area
• Report programme data and submit monthly performance reports to the programme manager on time
• Handle medicine dispensing, lab testing, nursing care, or health education duties as specific to the post
• Coordinate with ASHA workers, ANMs, and other frontline health staff for last-mile service delivery
• Attend training programmes, workshops, and review meetings conducted under the respective mission or programme
