Who Can Apply?
Specialist Doctors
- Qualification: You need a recognised medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, plus a Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty.
- ECHO Cardiologist: PG qualification in General Medicine or Respiratory Medicine with fellowship/certificate in ECHO Cardiology; one year experience is needed where the certificate route is used.
- Intensivist: PG qualification in Anesthesia or Respiratory Medicine with fellowship in critical care or equivalent and 1 year experience.
Medical, Dental, Lab, Pharmacy and Office Posts
- Medical Officer: Recognised medical qualification or Goa Medical School degree plus compulsory rotating internship.
- Public Health Dentist: Dental degree qualification included in Part I or II of the Dentist Act, 1948 schedule.
- Microbiologist: MSc Microbiology with 3 years experience in a recognised hospital, institution, or laboratory.
- Biochemist: MSc Biochemistry as a principal subject; bio-chemical work experience is desirable.
- Pharmacist and Storekeeper: Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy with registration or eligibility under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Laboratory Technician: Matriculation with Chemistry and Diploma in Laboratory Technology from a government recognised institution.
- Public Relation Officer: Graduation, minimum three-month diploma in Computer Application, and 2 years experience in a similar field; Mass Communication/Public Relations diploma is desirable.
Age Limit
- Specialist doctor posts: Age limit is 60 years as noted in the notification.
- Posts from Sr. No. 17 to 22: Age should not exceed 45 years, relaxable as per Government instructions/orders.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Post-wise: recognised medical/PG specialty degree, MBBS, dental degree, MSc Microbiology/Biochemistry, D.Pharm/B.Pharm, Matriculation with DMLT, or Graduation with computer diploma.
Preferred Qualification
Konkani knowledge is desirable for all posts; post-wise experience is desirable/required where mentioned.
