MSEBHCL Director Projects Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

MSEB Holding Company Ltd. has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for the post of Director (Projects), MSPGCL. This is a Board-level role, and the selected person will report to the Chairman and Managing Director. The recruitment is meant for senior power sector professionals who have handled large engineering, project, and leadership responsibilities.

The position can be filled on contract or deputation for a period of 3 years. Officers from Central or State Government and Central or State PSUs can also be considered on deputation if they meet the qualification and experience conditions.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Qualification: You must be a Graduate Engineer in the relevant discipline.
• Total Experience: You need at least 20 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Senior Level Experience: You need at least 5 years at Chief Engineer level, including 1 year at one position below the Board in a State Electricity Board or PSU in the power sector.
• Preferred Qualification: MBA or equivalent degree from a reputed Management School will be preferred.
• Relaxation: Qualification and experience may be relaxed by the Competent Selection Authority in deserving cases.

For Private Sector Executives

• Company Turnover: Your current company should have annual turnover above Rs. 500 crores.
• Position Level: You should be working at Board level or at a non-Board level position that reports directly to the Board.
• Listed Company: The company should be listed on a stock exchange.

Who Cannot Apply?

• MSPGCL Director Limit: A person who has already held the Functional or Whole-time Director post in MSPGCL for a maximum of 2 terms, including the current or remaining term, cannot apply for this post.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 60 years
• Age will be counted as on the date of publication of advertisement, 29 April 2026.

Salary

• The compensation will be comparable to similar sized PSUs and is negotiable.
• For candidates joining on deputation from Government or PSUs, pay will follow the normal deputation rules applicable in such cases.
• Unfurnished accommodation may be provided at concessional rent, subject to availability. If accommodation is not provided, HRA will be paid as per company rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection process is based on scrutiny and interview. There is no written exam mentioned in the advertisement.
