Who Can Apply?

Nursing, ANM and Pharmacy Posts

• Staff Nurse: 10+2 or Intermediate with 3 years General Nursing and Midwifery training from a Government-recognised institution and registration under Jharkhand Nursing Council.
• ANM: 10+2 or equivalent with ANM course from a Government-recognised institution approved by INC, plus Jharkhand Nursing Council registration.
• Pharmacist: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institute and registration under Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council.

Technical, Lab and Data Posts

• Lab Technician: 10+2 or Intermediate with Diploma in Lab Technician and 1 year experience, registered under Jharkhand Paramedical Council.
• X-ray Technician: 10+2 or Intermediate with Diploma in X-ray Technology/Radiology and 2 years experience.
• Block Data Manager: Graduate with computer diploma/DOEACC qualification or computer application degree, 2 years relevant experience and English typing speed of 40 WPM.

Programme and Counselling Posts

• Accountant: Commerce graduate with 2 years accounts experience and accounting software experience.
• Clinical Psychologist: Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or approved clinical training as mentioned in the notification.
• Psychiatric Social Worker: Postgraduate degree after at least 2 years study in mental health or psychiatric social work.
• ARSH Counsellor: Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology or Human Development, or Nursing diploma with 1-3 years adolescent work experience.

Age Limit

• Minimum age is 21 years.
• Maximum age is 35 years for UR/EWS, 37 years for BC/OBC, 38 years for women of UR/EWS/BC/OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.
• PwD relaxation: upper age can go up to 45, 47, 48 or 50 years depending on category.
• Ex-servicemen: relaxation of 5 years is mentioned as per reservation category.
• Age reference date: 31 May 2026.

Salary

• Lowest monthly honorarium: Rs. 10,395 for ANM - NUHM.
• Highest monthly honorarium: Rs. 34,729 for Clinical Psychologist - NMHP.
• Staff Nurse posts pay Rs. 16,564 for NHM and Rs. 15,766 for SNCU.
• ANM posts pay between Rs. 10,395 and Rs. 12,039 depending on programme.
• Other posts have post-wise fixed monthly pay as listed in the official table.

Application Fee

• UR / EWS / BC / OBC: Rs. 400
• SC / ST: Rs. 200
• PwD with 40% or more disability: fee exemption is allowed as per rules.
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of District Health Society, Lohardaga, payable in Lohardaga district.
• The fee is non-refundable.

Selection Process

The selection will use a 100-mark merit system for paramedical and non-paramedical posts.

1. Written Exam: Objective MCQ exam for 60 marks. The exam duration will be 1 hour.
2. Academic and Training Marks: Remaining 40 marks will be based on academic/training performance and relevant higher qualification where applicable.
3. Skill Test: If needed, a skill test will be qualifying only and its marks will not be added to merit.
4. Merit List and Document Check: The district selection committee will prepare the merit list, and selected applicants will have to produce original documents.
