Lakshadweep Development Corporation Limited (LDCL), a Government of India Undertaking based in Kochi, has released an Employment Notice for 2 Marine Superintendent posts. The corporation handles shipping operations and inter-island vessel services for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Recruitment is on deputation from Central or State Governments and PSUs, and on contract basis if deputation is not available. Experienced marine engineering officers with Class I MEO certification can apply offline by post.

Who Can Apply?

• Source of Engagement: Officers from Central Government, State Governments, or PSUs are preferred for deputation. If suitable deputationists are not available, the post will be filled on contract basis from the open market.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

3. Final Selection: Based on qualification, sea-going experience, and preference for Lakshadweep candidates.
