Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), a State University established by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, has released Employment Notice F.1(4)(1)/Rectt.-NT/2026/454 dated 6 May 2026 for the engagement of one Advisor cum Consultant on a purely short-term contract basis. The contract is initially for six months and may be extended based on the needs of the University and the performance of the appointee. This post is meant for retired senior-level government or academic officers with vast experience in planning, procurement, HR development, project handling and academic-industry liaison.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Master's Degree from a recognised university.
• Past Service: You must have retired from a Centre/State Government, Autonomous Body, Academic/Research Institution, or Statutory Body of Government at the senior level.
• Experience Required: Vast experience in planning, procurement, Human Resource Development, optimum utilization of resources, handling of projects, drafting of concept papers, and liaison/coordination with departments to build links with industries, academic institutions, and government organisations.
• Skills: Ability to promote entrepreneurship and enhance student learning and research in a cohesive and effective manner.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 69 years on the last date of submission of application.
• This post is reserved for retired senior officers — there is no minimum age.

Salary

• You will get an all-inclusive consolidated salary as per University rules and policy.
• The exact amount depends on your qualification and past experience.
• TDS will be deducted as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Screening of Online Applications: The University will shortlist applications based on qualification, past experience and suitability.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce attested copies of educational and professional qualifications, experience certificates, last pay slip and PPO.
3. Interview: Final selection is based on interview. Merely being called for interview does not entitle you to selection.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
