DLSA Narsinghpur Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of District Legal Services Authority, Narsinghpur (M.P.) has released a recruitment notification (No. 01/Stha./Vahan Chalak-17/507/20 dated 30.04.2026) for 1 Driver post on a contract basis. This recruitment is being done under the grant from the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi, and as per directions of the M.P. State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur. This is an offline recruitment — you need to submit a hard-copy application either in person or by registered post.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed 10th class from a recognised board.
• Driving Licence: You must have a valid driving licence.
• Experience: You must have experience of driving all types of vehicles.
• Preference: Candidates who are also qualified mechanics (automobile) will be given priority.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 35 years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026 (minimum) and as on the date of notification (maximum).

Salary

• You will get a fixed honorarium of Rs. 12,000 per month.
• The contract is initially for 2 years and may be extended by 1 more year based on satisfactory performance, good conduct and continuity of work.
• Note: Contract service does not give any right to regular employment or continued service after the contract period ends.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Applications will be checked and a list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website and notice board.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview before a committee constituted by the Principal District and Sessions Judge / Chairman, DLSA Narsinghpur.
3. Practical Driving Test: Candidates found suitable in the interview will appear for a practical driving test.

• Drive the multi-purpose vehicle of DLSA Narsinghpur safely and on time
• Maintain the vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition at all times
• Carry out routine checks on fuel, engine oil, tyres and brakes before each trip
• Report any mechanical fault or repair need to the office without delay
• Follow all traffic rules and ensure passenger safety on every journey
• Keep a daily log book of trips, fuel use and kilometres driven
• Be available for duty as per office requirement, including outstation travel when needed
• Assist office staff with vehicle-related arrangements during legal aid camps and outreach activities
