DLSA Neemuch Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of District Legal Services Authority, Neemuch (M.P.) has released a recruitment notification (No. 69/Stha./Jivisepra/190/2026 dated 23.04.2026) for 1 Driver post on a contract basis. This recruitment is being done under the grant from the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA). Selection is interview-based with a practical driving test — there is no written exam. The interview and driving test will be held on 13 May 2026 at the new District Court Premises, Neemuch.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed 10th class from a recognised board (minimum qualification).
• Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen.
• Driving Licence: You must have a valid driving licence.
• Experience: You must have experience of driving all types of vehicles.
• Preference: Candidates who are also qualified vehicle mechanics will be given priority.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years as on the last date of application.
• Note: The notification does not specify a maximum age limit.

Salary

• You will get a fixed honorarium of Rs. 13,000 per month.
• The salary is fixed for Neemuch under Class B pay scale (cities with population over 2 lakh).
• You will get 13 days of casual leave in a calendar year.
• The contract is initially for 2 years and may be extended by 1 more year based on satisfactory performance and good conduct.
• Note: Contract service does not give any right to regular employment after the contract period.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications will be checked. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be published on the notice board on 09 May 2026.
2. Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview on 13 May 2026 at 9:30 AM at the resting room of the Special Judge, 2nd floor, New District Court Premises, Neemuch.
3. Practical Driving Test: Candidates found suitable in the interview will appear for a practical driving test on the same day (13 May 2026).
4. Final Selection: The selected and waiting list will be approved by the M.P. State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, and published on the notice board.

How to Apply

2. Fill the application form in the prescribed format with all entries completed carefully (no corrections allowed once submitted).
3. Attach self-attested copies of: valid driving licence, vehicle driving experience certificate, identity proof (Aadhaar), 10th class certificate, and mechanic qualification certificate (if any).

5. The application must reach the office before 5:00 PM on 08 May 2026 (Monday).

• Perform duties with full alertness and good conduct under the supervision of DLSA Neemuch
• Carry out routine checks on fuel, engine oil, tyres and brakes before each trip
• Maintain the vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition at all times
• Report any mechanical fault or repair need to the office without delay
• Follow all traffic rules and ensure passenger safety on every journey
• Keep a daily log of trips, fuel usage and kilometres driven
• Be available for duty as required, including travel for legal aid camps and outreach activities
