Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) Executive (HR) / Assistant Executive (HR) Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

KMRL has released Advt. No. KMRL/HR/2026-27/08 dated 4 August 2026 to hire 2 HR professionals for its HR Department. KMRL is a 50:50 Joint Venture of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala that runs the Kochi Metro network, and it is now expanding operations under Phase II (JLN to Info Park) — bringing fresh HR requirements alongside this recruitment. You will join either as Executive (HR) at E1 level or Assistant Executive (HR) at E0 level, and KMRL promises best-in-class pay, allowances, and career growth opportunities in this corporate-style HR role. Who Can Apply?

For Executive (HR) - E1 (Rs. 40,000-1,40,000/month):

• You need a full-time regular MBA or equivalent with HR as one specialization, with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute. A degree in Law is desirable.
• You should have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations in a PSU or a large private company with an annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 crore.
• Private sector candidates must have a current CTC of at least Rs. 7.00 lakh per annum, supported by Form 16 or payslip proof.

For Assistant Executive (HR) - E0 (Rs. 30,000-1,20,000/month):

• Same educational qualification as above — a full-time MBA with HR specialization and minimum 60% marks.
• You should have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations in a PSU or large private company with turnover of at least Rs. 200 crore.
• Private sector candidates must have a current CTC of at least Rs. 5.50 lakh per annum, supported by Form 16 or payslip proof.

Note: Even if you meet the minimum qualification and experience, this does not automatically entitle you to be shortlisted for the test/interview or to be selected — evaluation is entirely at KMRL's discretion, and the final grade (E0 or E1) offered will be based on your suitability, performance, and prior pay drawn.

Age Limit

• For Executive (HR): maximum 32 years as on 1 August 2026.
• For Assistant Executive (HR): maximum 30 years as on 1 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per reservation rules for reserved categories. Existing KMRL regular employees also get relaxation of up to 5 years, and former KMRL contract staff graded "Very Good" get relaxation of up to 3 years, when applying for a higher regular post.

Salary

• Executive (HR) - E1 gets an IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month.
• Assistant Executive (HR) - E0 gets an IDA pay scale of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month.
• You will also get allowances and career growth opportunities as per KMRL rules, with pay protection for eligible employees as per government guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Written Test / Computer-Based Test — conducted if KMRL decides it is needed, based on the number of shortlisted applicants.
2. Interview — only shortlisted candidates are informed, by email. No other mode of communication is used.

KMRL reserves the right to shortlist applicants at its sole discretion, and no correspondence will be entertained regarding conduct or result of the test/interview. A waitlist may be maintained for future vacancies.
