Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) Assistant Executive (Finance) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a 50:50 joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, has released a notification for 1 Assistant Executive (Finance) post at the E0 grade under regular recruitment. KMRL is looking for a finance professional who can handle IND AS financial statements, GST compliance, and IT compliance for the organization. Candidates with SAP knowledge or those currently working in a listed / IND AS-compliant company will get preference — this is a great chance to move from the private sector into a stable government joint venture.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: CA / CMA (ICWAI), or a full-time regular MBA with Finance as one of the specializations, with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university or institute.
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience after qualifying CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) / MBA, handling IND AS financial statements, GST compliance, or IT compliance in a large public or private sector organization. Articleship or industrial training will not be counted as experience.
• Desirable: Knowledge of SAP is preferred. Preference will also be given to candidates currently working in a listed company or an IND AS-compliant company.
• For private sector candidates: You must currently have a CTC of at least Rs. 5.50 lakh per annum, with proof (Form 16 or payslip) submitted along with your application.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 1 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government reservation rules for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories.
• Existing KMRL regular employees get age relaxation of up to 5 years when applying for a higher post. KMRL contract employees graded 'Very Good' get relaxation of up to 3 years for a regular post in the same grade.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month under the E0 grade (IDA Scale).
• Initial pay is usually fixed at the minimum of the pay scale, though KMRL may grant advance increments based on the selection committee's recommendation. Pay protection will be granted as per government guidelines where applicable.

Selection Process

KMRL will decide the exact selection method based on the number of applicants shortlisted for this post:

1. Written Test / Computer-Based Test: May be conducted if a large number of candidates apply.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
