Kerala PSC is inviting online applications for Store Keeper posts at the Kerala State Co-operative Federation for Fisheries Development Limited (MATSYAFED), reserved for regular employees of MATSYAFED's member co-operative societies. Kerala PSC has released Category No. 088/2026 (Part III - Society Category) to fill anticipated Store Keeper vacancies at MATSYAFED, the apex federation supporting fishing co-operative societies across Kerala, reserved for regular employees of its affiliated member societies. MATSYAFED fills its Store Keeper vacancies in a 5:3:2 ratio between the General Category (Part I), the Fishermen/Dependent of Fishermen Category (Part II) and the Society Category (Part III). The selection will be made on a statewide basis, and the resulting ranked list remains valid for a minimum of one year and up to a maximum of three years. If no candidate is advised from the list even after three years, its validity is extended by another year or until at least one candidate is advised, whichever happens first.

If there is a shortage of candidates on the Society Category ranked list, MATSYAFED will fill those vacancies from the General Category list instead, and such passed-over vacancies will not be given back to this category later — so it helps to apply early if you meet the eligibility criteria. Any further vacancies reported while this ranked list is active will also be filled using the same rotation.

Who Can Apply?

• Experience: You need 3 years of regular service in any post within a member society affiliated to MATSYAFED, counted as on the date of application, and you must still be working in that society on the date of appointment.
• Qualification: You need to have passed SSLC or its equivalent.
• Qualifications recognised by government executive or standing orders as equivalent to SSLC, or higher qualifications that already include SSLC as a base requirement, are also accepted.
• Proof required: You must get a Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General) of the Co-operative Department, showing your service details, and upload it with your application. Applications that do not have this certificate uploaded will not be considered.
• If you were recruited to a MATSYAFED post reserved for society employees through Kerala PSC and are still working in that post, the "in-service on appointment date" condition does not apply to you.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old — only candidates born between 2 January 1976 and 1 January 2008 (both dates included) can apply.
• The general age relaxation rules under Para 2 of the General Conditions do not apply to this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 24,400 to Rs. 55,200 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

Kerala PSC will follow these steps to select candidates:

1. Written / OMR / Online Test (if conducted): Confirm through your profile that you will appear for the test, then generate and download your admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam.
2. Ranking: A separate ranked list will be prepared for the Society Category, and candidates will be advised in the 5:3:2 rotation along with the General and Fishermen category lists. If there is a shortage of candidates on the Society list, those vacancies will instead be filled from the General Category list.
3. Document Verification: You must produce your original documents proving qualification, service and age whenever the Commission asks for them.
4. Probation: Once appointed, you will be on probation for 2 years within a continuous 3-year period from your date of joining.

How to Apply

2. Complete the One Time Registration if you are a new user, or log in with your existing User ID and password.
3. Find the notification for Store Keeper, MATSYAFED, Society Category (Cat. No. 088/2026) and click 'Apply Now'.
4. Upload your Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General) along with your application.
5. Check all your details carefully before final submission — they cannot be edited afterwards.
6. Save a printout or soft copy of your submitted application, since you will need it for any future correspondence with the Commission.
