Kerala PSC Dental Hygienist Grade-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Health Services Department under the Government of Kerala provides public health and dental care services across the state. This NCA (Non-availability of Candidates Appointment) vacancy has been issued because the Dheevara community seat remained unfilled in the original ranked list published on 29.11.2005 (Cat. Salary

  • Pay scale: Rs. 35,600 - 75,400 per month
  • Starting basic pay: Rs. 35,600
  • You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as applicable to Kerala government employees
  • The total monthly take-home salary (including DA and HRA) can be approximately Rs. 42,000 - 45,000 at the entry level

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination / OMR / Online Test - Kerala PSC may conduct an objective-type written exam. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists in providing oral health care services to patients at government health facilities
  • Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and prophylactic treatments under the supervision of dental surgeons
  • Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent tooth decay
  • Conduct oral health screenings and assess patients for signs of oral diseases
  • Maintain dental instruments, equipment, and sterilization procedures as per health department protocols
  • Keep accurate patient records, treatment charts, and documentation as required
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, brushing techniques, and preventive dental care
  • Follow all government health department guidelines and protocols for infection control
