Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL), under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has released a notification to engage 30 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, at its plant in Ambalamugal, Kochi, Kerala. Trade Apprentices apply through the NAPS portal and Graduate and Technician Apprentices apply through the NATS portal. Who Can Apply?

Trade Apprentices (Rs. 10,560/month)

• You must have an ITI certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade — Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Mechanic Diesel, Electrician or Instrument Mechanic.

Technician Apprentices (Rs. 10,900/month)

• You must have a Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline.

Graduate Apprentices (Rs. 12,300/month)

• You must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline.

Common Requirements

• You need 60% marks in the qualifying exam (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
• You must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
• You should not have done an apprenticeship earlier under the Apprentices Act.

Salary

• Trade Apprentices: Rs. 10,560 per month
• Technician Apprentices: Rs. 10,900 per month
• Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 12,300 per month
• This is a training stipend paid during the one-year apprenticeship.

• There is no application fee for any candidate.

Selection Process

Selection is based on:

1. Merit: Shortlisting is done on the basis of your marks in the qualifying exam (ITI / Diploma / B.Tech).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must show original certificates for checking.

There is no written exam for this apprenticeship.
