Kerala PSC has issued Category No. 100/2026, a First NCA (Non-Communal Allotment) Notification, to fill two Assistant Professor vacancies in Radiodiagnosis under Medical Education, reserved for the Muslim community. This notification follows the Ranked List published on 21 March 2025 (Category No. 347/2023, gazetted 16 October 2023) for this post, which did not have enough eligible Muslim community candidates to fill these vacancies. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MD or DNB in Radio-Diagnosis.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a Senior Resident in Radio Diagnosis at a recognised Medical College after your PG degree. Kerala PSC also accepts several equivalent routes — including work as a Tutor or Demonstrator with a relevant PG degree, service as a Specialist Medical Officer in the Armed Forces, non-teaching Consultant/Specialist experience of 2+ years in a government hospital with 220+ beds, or longer experience (4-6 years) for Diploma holders in specific circumstances.
• Registration: Permanent registration under the Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council for Modern Medicine.
• Community: Only candidates belonging to the Muslim community are eligible for this notification. Applications from other communities will be rejected.
• Note: Selected candidates must serve 4 years of Defence-related service within their first 10 years of service if called upon, unless they are differently abled or above 45 years of age.

Age Limit

• You should be between 22 and 50 years old — born between 2 January 1976 and 1 January 2004 (both dates included), including standard age relaxation as per the General Conditions.

Salary

• Salary for this post will be paid as per UGC (University Grants Commission) norms applicable to Assistant Professors in Medical Education.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Kerala Government rules.

Selection Process

Kerala PSC will select candidates through the following process:

3. Ranked List: A Ranked List will be prepared for this post based on the selection process.
4. Document Verification: You will need to produce original documents — your MD/DNB degree, TCMC registration, experience certificates, and Muslim community/Non-Creamy Layer certificate — when the Commission calls for them.
