Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) is conducting a walk-in interview for Guest Faculty in Animal Husbandry at RARS, Kumarakom. Kerala Agricultural University Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Regional Agricultural Research Station, Kumarakom, has issued notice Acad/0233/2026 dated 16 June 2026 for Guest Faculty in Animal Husbandry. The appointment is for the semester and will continue until regular hands are appointed, whichever happens earlier. This is a walk-in interview, so you need to report in person with documents.

Salary

  • Practical session: Rs. 1,500 for handling one practical session of 2-hour duration.
  • Theory session: Rs. 1,000 for handling one theory session of 1-hour duration.
  • No TA/DA: KAU will not pay TA/DA for attending the interview or for handling sessions.

The pay is session-based, not a fixed monthly salary. The exact amount will depend on the sessions assigned after selection.

Selection is based on marks obtained for the essential qualification and interview. KAU will also give weightage for desirable qualifications such as Ph.D. and teaching experience.
