JSSC ANM Recruitment 2025 — 3181 Vacancies

JSSC has released notification for 3,181 Female Health Worker (ANM) posts across all 24 districts of Jharkhand. Candidates who have passed 10th Class with 45% marks and completed 18-month ANM training can apply online. The CBT exam is scheduled for 18-19 March 2026 at Ranchi. Salary ranges from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month under Level-4.

JSSC ANM (JANMCE) Recruitment 2025 - 3181 Posts

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released Advertisement No. 03/2025 and 04/2025 for the Jharkhand Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Competitive Examination (JANMCE-2025). This recruitment covers 3,020 regular vacancies and 161 backlog vacancies, totaling 3,181 Female Health Worker (ANM) posts across all 24 districts of Jharkhand state. Only female candidates who are registered with the Jharkhand State Nursing Council can apply. The exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in a single phase.

Who Can Apply?

• Gender: Only female candidates can apply for this recruitment.
• Education: You must have passed Matric (10th Class) with at least 45% marks from a recognized Board.
• ANM Training: You need to have completed 18 months of ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) training from a recognized institution.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Jharkhand State Nursing Council.
• Domicile: Candidates must be residents of Jharkhand state. Local domicile certificate is mandatory for reservation benefits.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years old as on 01 August 2025.
• Maximum age for Unreserved and EWS (Female): 40 years
• Extremely Backward Class (Anusuchi-1) and Backward Class Anusuchi-2 (Male): 42 years
• Female candidates in Unreserved, OBC, SC (Anusuchi-1) and ST (Anusuchi-2): 43 years
• SC/ST (Male and Female): 45 years
• PwBD Relaxation: Additional 5 years relaxation on maximum age for all PwBD candidates.
• Ex-Servicemen: Additional 5 years age relaxation on maximum age for all ex-army women.
• Contractual Workers: Maximum age limit is 55 years for candidates who have been working on contract for at least 5 years of continuous service.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month under Level-4 of the Jharkhand Government Pay Matrix.
• Pre-revised pay scale: PB Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2,400.
• You will also receive DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Jharkhand state government rules.

• PwBD (40% or more disability, Jharkhand domicile): No fee

• Note: The fee is non-refundable. Applications submitted without fee payment will not be accepted.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a composite merit score out of 150 marks:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 50 objective questions for 50 marks in 60 minutes. Each question carries 1 mark. No negative marking. Exam language is Hindi/English.
2. Technical Qualification (ANM Training) Score: Up to 10 marks based on your percentage in ANM training (60%+ gets 10 marks, 45-60% gets 7 marks, below 45% gets 5 marks).
3. Educational Qualification Score: Up to 40 marks based on your Matric and Intermediate percentage.
4. Work Experience Score: Up to 50 marks for contractual work experience in Jharkhand government hospitals (5 marks per completed year, max 50 marks).
5. Document Verification: After merit list is prepared, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

Total Score = CBT Marks + ANM Training Score + Educational Score + Experience Score (Maximum 150 marks)

2. Click on "Online Application for JANMCE-2025" and register yourself.
3. You will receive a Registration Number and Password on your mobile and email.
4. Log in with your registration details and fill in the application form.
5. Save and Continue on each page of the form before 12:00 midnight of the same day.
6. Pay the exam fee online through the payment portal.
7. After fee payment, upload your scanned photo and signature.
8. Review all details, submit the application form, and take a printout for your records.
