Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Senior Clinical Research Coordinator Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

JIPMER, Puducherry has released Recruitment Notice JIP/NEPHRO/PRO/2026/001 dated 11 August 2026 for one Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Nephrology. You will work on the "Studies of Heart & Kidney Protection with BI 690517" study — a multicenter, international, randomized clinical trial for chronic kidney disease patients, led by Dr. Sreejith Parameswaran, Professor and Head. This is a walk-in selection — there is no separate online application form. The post is purely temporary/contractual for a project tenure of 12 months, extendable for the full project duration, and you will need to work full-time exclusively on this project without taking up any other assignment.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Clinical Research or Life Sciences, and/or Pharm.D/M.Pharm.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience working as a Coordinator in clinical trials or investigator-initiated research projects at reputed medical institutes (proof to be submitted).
• Certification: ICH-GCP Certification is required.
• Skills: Computer skills for data entry of patient-level databases.
• Candidates with research experience and good communication skills in Tamil will be preferred.
• You must be able to join by 15 September 2026, as this position is being filled on an urgent basis.

Age Limit

• You should be less than 35 years old as on 28 February 2026.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 45,000 per month to start.
• This can increase by up to 10% every year, up to a maximum of Rs. 60,000 per month, based on your performance assessment by the Principal Investigator.
• This is a consolidated pay — provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession and Medical Claim benefits are not applicable.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Selection Process (Walk-in)

JIPMER will select candidates through the following steps, all on the same day:

1. Document Verification: Report to the Department of Nephrology at 9:00 AM on 4 September 2026 with your original documents and certificates.
2. Written Test: Candidates will be shortlisted through a written test.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at 2:00 PM on 4 September 2026 at the Department of Nephrology.
