IWAI Section Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), which works under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, wants to bring in Section Officers on deputation at its head office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This is not an open recruitment for freshers. Only officers already working in Central or State Government offices, PSUs, or statutory and autonomous bodies can apply.

If you are a graduate working as an Assistant with several years of regular service, or you already hold a post equal to Section Officer, this is a chance to move to the national authority that develops and manages India's waterways. You apply offline in the prescribed proforma attached to the notice, filled in Hindi or English and signed, with your photograph. Route it through proper channel via your current office, and send it by Registered Post or Speed Post only to The Assistant Secretary (Admn. & Estt.), Inland Waterways Authority of India, A-13, Sector-1, Noida-201301 (U.P.).

Write "Application for the post of Section Officer on deputation basis, against Employment Notice No. IWAI-17011/5/2025-ADMIN RECTT Dated 08.10.2026" on the closed envelope. If your office may take time to forward the form, send an advance copy so it reaches IWAI in time. Late, incomplete or directly sent applications can be rejected.
