Indian Navy 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Recruitment 2026 - 60 Posts

The Indian Navy has released the advertisement for unmarried men and women to become Permanent Commissioned Officers in technical branches after a four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. The original advertisement opened applications on 29 May 2026 and listed the last date as 18 June 2026. The deadline has now been extended on the official Join Indian Navy current-events page to 29 June 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Undergo a 4-year B.Tech course at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala in Mechanical or Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Complete naval training in seamanship, navigation, weapons systems and leadership alongside academics
  • Serve as a Permanent Commissioned Officer in the Indian Navy after commissioning as Sub Lieutenant
  • Operate and maintain naval machinery, propulsion systems or electronic warfare and communication equipment on ships and submarines
  • Lead teams of sailors and supervise engineering or technical operations on board
  • Participate in naval operations, exercises and deployments as directed by the command
  • Maintain discipline, fitness and professional standards as expected of a naval officer

Minimum Qualification

12th Pass (Senior Secondary 10+2) with at least 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% in English (Class 10 or 12). Must have appeared in JEE Main 2026.
