The Indian Navy has released the advertisement for unmarried men and women to become Permanent Commissioned Officers in technical branches after a four-year B.Tech course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala. • Mechanical Engineering: 30 posts
• Electronics and Communication Engineering: 30 posts
• Women candidates: maximum 8 vacancies in total, with 4 each in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding: based on merit and qualification during training, 7 candidates from Mechanical Engineering may be streamed to this B.Tech branch at NCW, Kochi

Who Can Apply?

• Candidate type: Unmarried men and women who meet the nationality conditions laid down by the Government of India can apply.
• Education: You must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent from a recognised board.
• Marks required: You need at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and at least 50% marks in English in either Class X or Class XII.
• JEE requirement: You must have appeared for JEE Main 2026. SSB call-up will be based on the JEE Main All India Common Rank List 2026 published by NTA.

Selection Process

4. Common Merit List: Final merit will be prepared based on SSB marks and medical fitness.
5. Verification and Vacancy Availability: Appointment is subject to police verification, character verification, and availability of vacancies in the entry.
