Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) has invited applications for 1 Junior Associate (Horticulture) post on a contract basis for two years, renewable based on performance and need. In this role, you will help maintain, develop, and monitor the horticulture and landscaping work across the IIM Udaipur campus. The job includes supervising gardeners and contractors, looking after lawns and plantations, managing irrigation, and keeping the campus green and beautiful.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must be at least 12th pass, or hold a diploma/degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, Forestry, or a related field from a recognised institute or university.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in horticulture maintenance, landscaping, nursery management, or institutional campus maintenance.
• Preferred: Experience in educational institutions, townships, hotels, hospitals, or large campuses is preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, fertilizers, pesticides, and landscaping. Ability to supervise workers and contractors. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office and reporting).

Age Limit

• Preferably above 30 years.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 22,500 to Rs. 28,000 per month, depending on your qualification, experience, and suitability.

• Supervise day-to-day horticulture and landscaping work across the campus
• Monitor upkeep of lawns, gardens, hedges, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and indoor plants

• Manage watering, irrigation, pruning, weeding, mowing, and pest control
• Maintain records of plantation, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening equipment
• Monitor irrigation systems including sprinklers and drip systems
• Assist in developing new landscape areas and seasonal plantation programs
• Prepare reports, work schedules, and documentation for horticulture activities
