All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) has released Advertisement No. Admn/Rect./Contract/2026/03 for engaging 13 technical staff on contract basis for the posts of Radiographic Technician Grade-I, Radiotherapy Technician Grade II, and Perfusionist. AIIMS Jodhpur is one of the six new AIIMS institutes set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna to strengthen tertiary healthcare in Western India, so these posts give you hands-on experience at a major central government hospital. Most of the openings (11 out of 13) are for Radiotherapy Technician Grade II, making it the biggest opportunity in this notification. The engagement is purely contractual for a fixed term of 11 months and will not be extended once it ends.

Vacancy Breakdown by Discipline

All three posts are in Group B, and the vacancies are provisional and subject to change as per government rules.

Who Can Apply?

Radiographic Technician Grade-I:

• Qualification: B.Sc (Hons) (3-year course) in Radiography from a recognized university, OR a Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution with 2 years of experience
• Desired: You should know how to use computers, including office applications and spreadsheets

Radiotherapy Technician Grade II:

• Qualification: B.Sc (Hons) (3-year course) in Radiotherapy/Radiology from a recognized university, OR a Diploma in Radiotherapy/Radiology from a recognized institution with 2 years of experience
• Desired: Computer knowledge including office applications, spreadsheets and presentations

Perfusionist:

• Qualification: B.Sc degree from a recognized university, plus a Certificate in Perfusion Technology from a recognized body such as the Association of Thoracic and Cardio Vascular Surgeons of India, with at least 1 year of clinical perfusion experience

Age Limit

• For Radiographic Technician Grade-I and Radiotherapy Technician Grade II, you should be between 21 and 35 years old as on the last date of application.
• For Perfusionist, the upper age limit is 30 years.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get 10 years (13 years for PwBD+OBC, 15 years for PwBD+SC/ST). Central/State government employees and AIIMS Jodhpur's own existing contractual staff also get age relaxation as per rules.

Salary

• All three posts carry a consolidated salary of Rs. 55,932 per month.
• These are Group B contractual posts, and this consolidated amount is the full monthly pay for the position.

Selection Process

• Operate radiography and radiotherapy equipment such as X-ray machines and linear accelerators as per your assigned post
• Position patients correctly and take accurate diagnostic images or deliver radiation therapy doses
• Set up and operate the heart-lung machine during cardiac surgeries (for the Perfusionist post)
• Maintain and calibrate technical equipment regularly to ensure patient safety
• Keep accurate records of patient scans, treatments and perfusion procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Assist doctors and surgeons during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Coordinate with hospital staff for smooth patient care during shifts
