International Centre of Excellence in Mining Safety and Automation (iCEM) is an autonomous institution established by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation ecosystem. This Senior Manager role is based in the Training & Development team and reports to the Director - Training & Development. The work location is the iCEM office in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat, or another location as required by the organization.
This is a senior expert role, not an entry-level vacancy. The selected person will help build the Sustainability (ESG) practice as a business line, design training and advisory solutions, work with industry clients, and support revenue growth for iCEM. Daily pickup and drop from Ahmedabad is available to iCEM employees as mentioned in the job description.
What This Role Involves
The role combines ESG subject knowledge with business leadership. You will work on areas like sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, regulatory requirements, climate risk, decarbonization, water stewardship, circular economy, and ESG capability building.
- Practice development: Build and scale the Sustainability practice into a profitable business line.
- Solution design: Create training programs, certification courses, and advisory solutions for ESG topics.
