Who Can Apply?

Manager and Engineer Posts

• Qualification: Full-time regular Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Communication, Computer Science, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or M.Sc Electronics.
• DGM/S&T Experience: Graduates need 10 years and diploma holders need 16 years in railway/metRO/PSU or similar S&T project work.
• Sr. Project Manager/S&T Experience: Graduates need 7 years and diploma holders need 10 years in S&T installation, testing and commissioning work.
• Sr. Project Engineer/Bidding: You need 2 years in S&T bidding, tendering, cost estimation and online bid submission work.
• Other Sr. Project Engineer and Project Engineer posts: Experience requirement ranges from 2 to 4 years, depending on the exact post and qualification route.
• AUTOCAD post: AUTOCAD experience is listed as desirable.

Technician Posts

• Senior Technician/S&T: Full-time regular ITI/NCVT trade in any discipline with 4 years S&T work experience.
• Technician/S&T: Full-time regular ITI/NCVT or 10th pass with 5 years experience in wiring, termination, installation, testing and commissioning of S&T systems.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years as on 1 June 2026.
• Age relaxation: Ex-servicemen relaxation is discretionary as per KRCL's notice.

Salary

• Deputy General Manager/S&T: Rs. 1,10,820 to Rs. 1,26,580 per month, depending on city class.
• Sr. Project Manager/S&T: Rs. 67,140 to Rs. 76,660 per month.
• Sr. Project Engineer/Bidding, Telecom and S&T: Rs. 50,060 to Rs. 57,140 per month.
• Project Engineer/S&T and Project Engineer/S&T (AUTOCAD): Rs. 41,380 to Rs. 47,220 per month.
• Senior Technician: Rs. 35,500 to Rs. 40,500 per month.
• Technician: Rs. 27,100 to Rs. 30,900 per month.
• The consolidated salary includes DA, HRA, conveyance and mobile allowance. KRCL also mentions insurance reimbursement up to Rs. 500/month, medical allowance of Rs. 500/month, health policy reimbursement up to Rs. 500/month, annual increase of 4%, leave and official travel facilities as per rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

KRCL will use a walk-in interview process for this contract recruitment.

1. Registration and Document Screening: You must report at the venue between 09:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs on the interview date with Annexure-A application and documents.
2. Group Discussion or Elimination Round: KRCL may add this stage if many candidates report for the walk-in.
3. Interview: A nominated committee will interview shortlisted candidates.
4. Merit List: Final merit will be based on interview performance, qualification and post-qualification experience.
5. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass the prescribed medical examination before joining.

3. Carry original certificates and one set of self-attested copies for age proof, qualification, experience, caste/category if applicable and ex-servicemen proof if applicable.

6. Come prepared to stay for at least 2 days if KRCL needs extra time for screening or interview.

• Supervise Signal and Telecommunication project work at KRCL project sites
• Prepare and check drawings, estimates, BOQs and project documents where assigned
• Monitor cable laying, foundations, location boxes, indoor and outdoor S&T work
• Coordinate with contractors, inspection teams and project officials
• Keep daily progress records and update site documentation
• Follow KRCL safety rules and support safe work at project locations
• Support testing, commissioning and handover of S&T systems
